With the removal of over 70,000 wild horses and burros from public lands in the last six years, there are now more wild horses and burros in government holding pens than roaming free and unless they find a good home through BLMs Adoption Program, these holding pens is where they will spend the rest of their lives.

In efforts to raise public awareness of the desperate plight over 30,000 of our wild horses and burros now face, on November 6th, 2007, Jerry Reynoldson, founder of Wild Horses-4 Ever and Anderson Dairy, a local Southern Nevada dairy farm, teamed up to announce the release of a limited edition milk carton with this drawing of a majestic mustang on its side to help promote BLMs Living Legacy Adoption Program.

Getting on a milk carton isn't easy! There's a long waiting list and Anderson Dairy released these cartons for only one week before moving on to others still waiting - it may be a very long time before wild horses and burros are given this great promotional opportunity to find good homes again!

So, begining in January, once a month American Herds will offer one of these now empty, limited edition collectors milk cartons for auction on Ebay with all proceeds being donated to Wild Burro Rescue in order to help them in their ongoing efforts to preserve and protect America's Wild Burros.

Merry
Christmas
!Wild Burro Rescue!

Here is what the Anderson milk cartons look like and you will have your choice between the Regular and Reduced Fat carton, both with the same majestic mustang drawing and Living Legacy Adoption Program information on their side.
